How to connect a Slack channel to a record
Search for any account, opportunity, contact or lead in Dooly
Click on the three dots in the top-right corner and toggle on Slack channel
Select a Slack channel or create a new one (note: only public Slack channels are available)
Once the Slack channel is selected, any notes taken against that record will get pushed to that Slack channel, as well as any new notes will also get pushed to that Slack channel
How to notify a team member in Slack from a Dooly note
When you’re on your Dooly note, click on the three dots in the top-right corner and toggle on Slack channel
Select a Slack channel or create a new one (note: only public Slack channels are available)
In your Dooly note, @ mention a team member to loop them in on the deal
Dooly will invite the team members you tagged to that Slack channel
You can @ mention more team members and hit sync to invite them to the same channel anytime
