Get Dooly's meeting note superpowers and log Salesforce activity at the same time

When meeting with prospects or customers, there's often the expectation to log that meeting in Salesforce to keep the CRM up-to-date and keep track of what was discussed and action items from that call.

The two most common activity types in Salesforce to log meetings are "Log a Call" Tasks and Events.

Let's get into how you can effortlessly log your meeting notes to Salesforce!πŸ‘‡

Sync Dooly Note as a "Log a Call" Task

Expected to log a call in Salesforce with details and action items after every call? Now get the same note template superpowers for your meeting and log a call in Salesforce at the same time.

  1. Start a meeting note from your calendar (using the Chrome extension)

  2. In the Log as dropdown, select Call

  3. Then select the task type (this will auto-populate with your organization's specific task types from Salesforce)

  4. And voila! Now your Dooly note will sync to Salesforce as a "Log a Call" Task

Need to update additional fields related to that Task?

  1. Sync your Dooly note to create the "Log a Call" Task in Salesforce

  2. Click on Call and the additional fields will appear on the right-hand side

  3. From here, updating fields will automatically update those task fields in Salesforce
