Customizing your AccountSpace and DealSpace experience starts with the selection of cards you add to your views.

Accessing your card options is easy! Just click on the + Add Card icon in either Account or Dealspace to open your Cards Library.

Once you've found the card you're looking for, click + Add to have it appear in your AccountSpace or DealSpace view.

Want to create a new card? No sweat - click on the Create New Card button in either the Custom Card or Salesforce Fields subheading in your library.

Not sure where to start? Try searching the library using a key word or phrase in the Find a Card search, or look through the library's recommendations, templates, or card types described below:

All

Just as it says, this is ALL of your cards created by Dooly, by yourself, or by colleagues in your org. Cards are arranged in alphabetical order and include all card types.

Created by Me

All of the cards YOU have created in either DealSpace or AccountSpace will appear here. Card types shown will include Salesforce Field cards and Custom Cards.

Recommended

The Recommended category contains a simple starter set of cards to help you have better Deal or Account reviews. The set of cards that appears in Recommended are the ones in the default view for each respective space

Templates

Templates are optional for Custom Cards. Any custom card that has had a template created will appear here. To view the template, add the card to your view.

Pro tip: To modify a template, click on the ... options Icon in the top right corner of your card. Click on settings and then Content Template.

Core

These are Dooly created cards.

  • Contacts - All Contact records related to that Account and its hierarchy (all child accounts of the parent account) are linked here and can be filtered by Contact fields such as Account or Title

  • Opportunities - All Opportunity records related to that Account are linked here and can be filtered by Opportunity fields such as Close Date, Opportunity Type, Owner or Stage

  • Child Accounts - Another place to view and transition across account hierarchy, child accounts are listed and can be filtered by Account Name or Owner. If you are on a child account or if your org does not utilize hierarchies, this card will be blank.

  • Notes - See the note history of the record you are currently viewing. You can toggle on "Show related notes" to also display notes from related records in the card.

Custom Cards

Custom Cards are a place to create lists, add fields not linked to Salesforce, or jot down notes. All Custom Cards you or your colleagues have created will appear here. There is also a Create New Card option if none of the existing cards are what you're looking for!

  • Custom cards are shared across AccountSpace and DealSpace. Meaning if you create a card for one Space, it will be listed as a card option for both.

  • Content added to cards in DealSpace will not roll over to cards added in AccountSpace (and vice versa), but the title and any templates created on cards will be visible when added to your view.

Pro tip: With so many options at your fingertips with custom cards, be sure to title your card with a unique identifier that is indicative of its purpose within your view.

Salesforce Fields

Add Salesforce fieldsets you've already created or create a new fieldset when you add one of these cards to your view. As long as the field is editable, you can make field updates straight from your Salesforce Field Card!

Pro Tip: Just like custom cards, be sure to title your card with a unique identifier that is indicative of its purpose within your view.

Archived

Want to tidy up your library? Cards that are no longer needed can be archived, allowing you to clear out the clutter, and find the cards you need faster. Don't worry if you change your mind, anything you archive can be restored!
Archived cards will no longer appear in your card library, but will still be visible and accessible in any views they have been added to.

Pro tip: Only card owners are able to archive their cards - be mindful of the cards you create and archive the ones that aren't needed!
